Sports Physiotherapy

sports-physiotherapySports physiotherapy and Sports Therapy helps sportsmen and sportswomen reach peak performance and advise on injury prevention and recovery from injuries. It is aimed at the professional and recreational athlete and specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of sports injury.

If you are aiming to improve your speed and agility or, if you’ve suffered an injury and are looking to get †back to full performance, we can begin with a complete musculoskeletal assessment which will identify weaknesses and imbalances. Next we can recommend a unique conditioning programme designed for your body and your sport, focused on maximising performance.

We have not only sports performance physiotherapy expertise but also the facilities to offer a full sports rehabilitation service.

Typical sports injuries we treat are:

  • Ligament and joint sprains and strains
  • Muscle strains and tears
  • Stress fractures
  • Pre-operative and post operative rehabilitation such as ACL reconstruction,
    rotator cuff repair…
  • Biomechanical running injuries such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles
    tendonopathy…
  • Spinal injuries

If you think that a weakness or imbalance is reducing your performance, of if you have a sports injury we may be able help.
